COMMUNITY PARTNER PROJECT

20210424_123955.jpg

Starting in Summer 2022, we'll be sharing the love with other like-minded local organizations to provide 50 free meals each month for neighbors in need through partnered distributions. On a weekly to monthly basis, meals prepared by 86 Hunger will be shared at no cost with other organizations working to better the lives of Lane County residents who are experiencing or at risk of experiencing food insecurity, hunger, poverty, discrimination, domestic violence, mental illness, or lack of stable housing. The Community Partner Project will foster new systems of support and meaningful engagement with the community, expanding our reach beyond just food. We believe we can be most impactful when working in a strong, connected and resilient community, and are proud to support diverse groups working toward this shared vision.

Community-focused organizations can now apply to have Acorn Community Cafe provide plant-based meals to be freely distributed to individuals meeting the above description, through the Community Partner Project. If your organization would like to distribute meals from Acorn Cafe as part of your next event, please get in touch through the form below!

How can we help?

Thanks for submitting!

Please note that we cannot accommodate all requests, and submitting a form does not guarantee your request will be granted. Please submit your request as early as possible and at least two weeks before your event.

Volunteers may participate in meal preparation with prior arrangement, but must sign waivers and

follow direction from our chef.

"Thank you so much for providing delicious meals & support to our community challenging food scarcity & access. We so appreciate you nourishing us all!"
